Kups to everyone who's known him longer than a week. Michal builds and integrates from London, UK, five hours ahead, which means the systems get looked after long before Florida wakes up.
He's the one who asks "but what happens when it fails?" early enough that it never gets to.
the story
We met in high school in Chicago and never really stopped talking: about technology, about business ideas, about things we swore we'd build one day. Graduation sent us to different continents. The conversation didn't notice.
After years of "we should really build something," we finally did. mackup.io is what happens when the group chat ships.
Being an ocean apart turned out to be the feature, not the bug. Between Florida, USA and London, UK, our combined workday is a very long one, and the systems we run are rarely far from a pair of open eyes.
